What about legalizing it statewide? I believe it should be allowed

Should same-sex couples have the same benefits as married heterosexual couples? Yes, marriage is marriage, if that right was taken away then the name would not be the same
Should diversity be part of lessons in kindergarten classes? No, each person should be allowed to grow up learning thier own beliefs
Should public schools be able to have anti-gay harassment courses (courses to stop harassment, not promote)? I believe it should be considered, but it also may start a negative light on things.
If yes to the courses, should they be mandatory? No, it should be up to the person if they are truly interested in it.

Do you believe our country delivers equality for all?
-No. I feel that gays and lesbians are not treated equally, and that this society has an idea of what all Americans should be, and no one who goes outside those guidelines is really treated the same and are often looked down upon.
To you, what is the definition of marriage?
-the definition of marriage in my point of view is the union of two people who love eachother and decide they want to be together for the rest of their lives, no matter what their sexual orientation.
What does the phrase “sanctity of marriage” mean to you?
-i think that no matter what orientation, the sanctity is still the same. Marriage is sacred in the way that two people are brought together in love to give themselves fully to the other person, and its not whether one is a man and one is a woman, but they both have one thing in common. LOVE!
Do you agree with Bush in wanting to ban same-sex marriage in the constitution?
-I do not agree. They say that America is a free country, and if that right is taken away then the country is no longer free. Gay marriage must be allowed, or not everyone has rights which in itself is unconstitutional.

-I support same sex marriage and believe that all that matters is the love that is shared, not the orientation of the people.
Would you oppose legalizing same-sex marriage nation wide?
-never! i feel that it needs to be done in order to make this country a better place for all Americans so that they can feel accepted and live their life the way they plan to.
What about legalizing it statewide?
-i feel that it should not be only a statewide thing, but a nationwide effort to make everyone happy.

-yes. that is the topic of my issue investigation, and i feel that those are some of the most loving homes anywhere in this country.

-yes i do. i think that they should have all the same rights, because they are no different from anyone else. a lot of people make them seem unworthy of having those right because they like people of the same sex, but in actuallity they are no different.

-i don't think so because they are at a young and tender age, and will not fully understand the topic.

-yes. i feel that they should because no one should make fun of another person, or use againt them whom they love. its the heart that choses, and its inevitable who you fall in love with. you are drawn to someone and love happens.
If yes to the courses, should they be mandatory?
-i feel that should be mandatory because a lot of people don't realize that they are doing it, and need help to learn how to stop. also there should be groups for gay students to open up and talk about how they are being harrassed so that those things can be addressed in the courses.
